John "Riley" Bushey
Riley’s passion for landscaping began at a young age, working alongside his dad, Jim Bushey, the founder of JB Lawn. What started with lawn maintenance, landscaping, and tree work quickly grew into a lifelong career.
After graduating from Penncrest High School in 2020, Riley dedicated himself full-time to growing the family business. He expanded JB Lawn’s services by introducing excavation and grading, large-scale planting and landscape design, and large tree installation. While you’ll find Riley working on every service we offer, his favorite is excavation and grading. Ever since he was a kid, he has loved heavy equipment, so operating the excavator and skid steer every day is truly a dream come true.
When he’s not on a job site, Riley enjoys spending time with JB Lawn’s four-legged crew member, Turbo. You’ll often find the two exploring local trails, hiking, or cooling off with a swim at places like Darlington Trail. Riley also enjoys working on his trucks, taking side-by-side trips with friends, hitting the slopes during ski season, and attending landscaping expos across the country to continue learning about the latest techniques and equipment while connecting with other professionals in the industry.
Riley’s dedication to quality workmanship, continued education, and customer satisfaction is what drives JB Lawn forward every day. Whether it’s routine property maintenance or a large excavation project, he’s committed to treating every property as if it were his own.
